Bitsure provides an innovative payment solution by utilizing the blockchain technology to link customer profiles to fiat-backed cryptocurrency transactions in order for financial institutions to create a secure and instantaneous, low-cost payment process to its customers. Bitsure is an interoperable payment platform that enables retailers to accept new and innovative payment methods in-store, such as mobile wallets, mobile money, cryptocurrency payments or bank accounts. A customer authorizes a transaction at a retailer or online simply by using their phone number and PIN without the need for a pre-installed mobile app. Thereby completely bypassing the Payment Card Industry (PCI). To date, no such platform exists which allow for settlements of transactions in a retail environment through distributed ledgers, immediately and cost-effectively.
