What are the differences in regulations for each
License
A Grade License
Issued by globally renowned regulators, these licenses ensure the highest trader protection through strict compliance, fund segregation, insurance, and regular audits. Dispute resolution and adherence to AML/CTF standards further enhance security.
B Grade License
Granted by respected regional regulators, these licenses offer robust safety measures such as fund segregation, financial reporting, and compensation schemes. Though slightly less strict than Tier 1, they provide dependable regional protection.
C Grade License
Issued by regulators in emerging markets, these licenses offer basic protections such as minimum capital requirements and AML policies. Oversight is less stringent, so traders should exercise caution and verify safety measures.
D Grade License
From jurisdictions with minimal oversight, these licenses often lack key protections like fund segregation and insurance. While attractive for operational flexibility, they pose higher risks to traders.

Get to know GreenBank Capital
Greenbank Capital is a corporate finance investment business focusing on Bitcoin and investing in Canadian small cap publicly listed companies. GreenBank has launched two subsidiaries investing in Bitcoin and Bitcoin startups, and is the first public company in the Bitcoin space. It also has special expertise and experience in creating and listing companies on the Canadian National Stock Exchange (“CNSX”), which it can do quickly and inexpensively. GreenBank is based on the model of a London merchant bank, taking equity positions in its clients and participating in client company decisions via board of directors positions. GreenBank also facilitates mergers and acquisitions, often participating with equity in the transactions as appropriate. GreenBank focuses primarily upon Canadian publicly listed small caps in the Bitcoin, natural resource and technology industries, although its CNSX expertise is available to companies in all sectors. GreenBank became publicly listed on the Canadian National Stock Exchange in April 2013 (CNSX: GBC). At listing its over $2,500,000 investment portfolio was primarily in mineral development companies with interests in gold, nickel and copper properties. In December 2013 it established Bitcoin Canada Investments and Bitcoin Angel Capital to invest in Bitcoin and in early stage Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency focused companies, and intends in due course to to spin off these companies to GreenBank shareholders and make application to list the Bitcoin companies on the CNSX.
