Established in 1946, Hanwha Life Insurance (the former name called Korea Life Insurance) is the oldest life insurance company in Korea. Hanwha Life Insurance is a life insurance company in South and known as South Korea's second largest life insurance company with assets of 81 trillion won as of November 2013. Hanwha Life also operates in Vietnam in 2008 and introduced in public in 2009.
