Get to know Joplin Regional Stockyards
Joplin Regional Stockyards is at the forefront of the cattle industry, offering value-added and commingling programs through the live auction and risk management marketing through customized video sales. Joplin Regional Stockyards is the oldest cow/calf auction in the country, with over 450,000 head of cattle sold each year. For more than 70 years, it has been a fixture in the four-state region. Joplin Regional Stockyards is dedicated to servicing buyers and sellers alike, with more than 10 acres under roof and cattle sales held 50 weeks a year. From November to May, special value-added calf and yearling sales are held on the first and third Thursdays, making it the largest of its kind in the Midwest. Monthly special video auctions provide cattlemen with another livestock marketing choice.
