The Mainframe Cloud platform is a wrapper that allows new mainframe applications to be developed in web code (i.e. JavaScript, HTML5) without requiring code changes on the mainframe. Typically, new mainframe applications developed using web service solutions require complex code changes both on the mainframe and the web service platform. MfC's micro-services approach decouples the business application logic from the mainframe applications eliminating complexity and providing customers with a more agile (and cost effective) approach to the development of new or the modernisation of existing mainframe applications.
