Monetas is a software technology company based in Switzerland. Monetas develops technologies that empower people to live and do business with greater freedom than ever before, and that make financial inclusion a reality. The cutting-edge Monetas platform is a combination of cryptofinance technologies working together to enable any type of transaction to be conducted instantly, privately, and securely. Monetas has signed agreements to bring its platform to twelve additional African countries in 2016, providing financial services to more than 300 million people. Monetas won the Swisscom Startup Challenge 2015 and will be featured prominently at CeBIT 2016. Monetas has raised 7m CHF to date from a large global investor community valuing the company at 90m CHF (Jan 16).
