Bumida Bumiputera was the holding company with an operational permit from the directorate of Financial Institutions, Directorate General of Domestic Monetary Affairs, and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, through which the company indicated that it complied with government regulations as stated in PP No. 39 of 2008 concerning the second amendment to government regulation No. 73 concerning the implementation of insurance business.
