It is one of the highest revenue-generating multimedia enterprises in the world. Based on its investments, it is also the largest firm in the global video game industry, with Tencent Games being the section of Tencent Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) dedicated to game publishing. It was founded in 1998, and its subsidiaries promote a variety of Internet-related services and goods, including those linked to entertainment, artificial intelligence, and other technologies, on a global scale. Tencent Seafront Towers (also known as Tencent Binhai Mansion), the company's headquarters, are located in the Nanshan District in Shenzhen.
