Banks and payment service providers have a huge challenge to understand fees by payment schemes like Visa and Mastercard. And on top of that rules are changed often, so a lot of resources are needed to analyze that. This means that they end up overpaying the fees. Torus was formed last year by ex-Mastercard executives to fight this problem. We develop a cloud-based analytical product, which helps banks and payment service providers to control the payment scheme fees and save up to 20% of the costs. Using the data available in banks, Torus solution enables banks and payment service providers to analyze their fees spent on card schemes in a more granular way, reconcile and forecast them as well as unleash the potential for optimization.
