    Get to know Ukrainian Exchange

    Established in October 2008, Ukrainian Exchange has become one of the fastest developing exchanges in the world. Now it offers trading in a wide array of financial instruments from equities to futures and options. Initially, RTS Stock Exchange, later Moscow Exchange were major shareholders of the Ukrainian Exchange with a 43% stake. In March 2016 Moscow Exchange sold its shares to Ukrainian market participants. Today more than 50% of shares are controlled by 2 groups of companies affiliated with Dragon Capital and UNIVER Investment Group. The free float is distributed among local and foreign investment institutions and individuals. On March 26, 2009, the UX Index, the first real-time equities index in Ukraine, was launched. It tracks the most liquid local shares and is widely recognized as the main benchmark for the Ukrainian securities market. Ukrainian Exchange offers to trade on the following markets: Order-Driven Market is anonymous continuous trading of stocks, bonds, and investment shares with T+0 settlement in hryvnas and 100% pre-funding of securities and cash; Repo Market allows market participants to lend and borrow money against securities for up to 365 days; Derivatives Market was launched in May 2010 starting with futures on the UX Index.
